June 20, 2008 Laceyville Welcomes
the Sojourners The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay (ACB)
Sojourners will be canoeing, kayaking and camping along the
Susquehanna River beginning from Corning NY on June 15, 2008. The
Sojourners will be camping by the River Bridge in Laceyville on June
20 with an estimated time of arrival of 4 PM. Please come watch and
welcome them as they dock on the shore of the River.
Dine at 6 PM with the
Sojourners followed by a presentation by Gary Bloss, RLA, PP
(Executive Director of Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay) at the
Braintrim Baptist Fellowship Hall. Seating is limited. Tickets may

July 12, 2008 Fireworks & Pig Roast Sparks will be a flyin' at Hidden Creek Winery with a fun time for all. Make sure you mark this date down on your calendar! August - Art, Jazz, Dance, poetry - Light up your August with great music, paintings and poetry at the opening of "Fire Light and Heat" exhibit. The Exhibit on the theme of Fire, Light and Heat is on schedule for this summer, with an opening date of Aug 8 here at the Blue Heron Gallery in Wyalusing, PA. The opening will include a poetry reading, wine, cheese and other tasty snacks, a free dance lesson and live jazz music.
